Needling
At an angle along the intercostal space, 0.3–0.5 cun (not deep).
Functions
relaxes the liver and gallbladder, promotes the flow of qi clears damp-heat (jaundice)
Indications
pain in the upper abdomen, a bitter taste in the mouth jaundice, vomiting, sour belching
Contraindications
⚠️ Do not inject deeply (into the chest cavity)
