On the palate, 2025 Time: 3pm - 5pm Location: Tea Shop, Portobello Green Join Juyan at her tea shop for an intimate tasting session featuring exceptional Raw Puers she selected during her recent trip to Yunnan in April 2025. Together, we will explore rare teas harvested from tall tea trees known as Gao Gan (高杆) . Above all, these trees grow naturally in the deep mountain valleys, reaching high above the surrounding vegetation. What's more, each tree produces only 1 to a few kilograms of tea per harvest , making these teas exceptionally rare and precious. In fact, this session is perfect for anyone who wants to palate some of the finest and most limited Raw Puer Teas available: 1. 2020 Raw Puer from Bai Hua Tang Selective Talll Trees Wilderness Orchid Raw Puer Tea from Bang Dong Great Snow Mountain 易武白花潭高杆选株 Bang Dong Great Snow Mountain lies on the western bank of the Lancang River, northeast of Linxiang District in Lincang City . In fact, the terroir is renowned for its ancient tea trees, many of which are centuries old. Above all, with deep roots that draw from mineral-rich soil, and rugged, rocky terrain – all of which contribute to the one-of-a-kind and complex character of the teas crafted here. 2. 1998 Xi Gui Raw Puer Tuo Cha 昔归 沱茶 “Da Hong Yin’ literally “Big Red Mark/Seal”, referring to a celebrated style of Puer packaging and label.
