Special Tea Tasting: Master Yu's Phoenix Dan Cong Tea on 4th Nov at 10am-12pm
Date: Saturday 15th February Location: in the shop Phoenix Dan Cong is one of the Oolong Tea from Chaozhou, Guangdong Province. The tea is famous for its overwhelming fruity taste and captivating floral undertones. Each variety of Phoenix Dan Cong oolongs is named based on the distinctive character crafted by its original tea tree, resulting in a wide array of flavours, as numerous as the tea trees on the mountain. On the palate, in this this tasting event, Juyan would be proudly present Master Yu Yingfeng’s four Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong teas. Above all, master Yu owns the former site of the state-owned tea factory, which was established in 1950s, encompassing 300 acres of ancient tea gardens in Wudong Mountain, situated at an average altitude of 1000 meters. Above all, wudong Mountain is a key terroir for Dan Cong Oolong teas. The production process of Phoenix Dan Cong tea is complex, with each step intricately linked, and there is no room for error in any of the procedures. What's more, master Yu follows the classic process method, use exclusively from 100% pure spring tea, harvested once a year. On the palate, each tea is finally charcoal roasted three rounds enhancing the taste and fragrance and tea’s storage capability. Above all, we will taste four Master Yu’s Dan Cong teas, experiencing their delightful floral fragrance and the lingering taste on your palate. On the palate, each tea promises to take you on a fascinating tea journey, allowing you to fully appreciate the essence and taste of these carefully crafted and sincere teas. Four Teas as following: Fenghuang Lai Yi Tea: this tea was used for the National tea day event in 2022, the name means that the phoenix dances with extraordinary grace, an ancient symbol of auspicious signs. In fact, the Rhyme of Wudong Mountain Love at the First Sight Tea Old Bush Dan Cong There are only 5 spaces, so please book early.
