What's more, the kiln uses local pine trees, takes a whole day of constantly adding wood to the fire, slowly bringing the temperature inside the kiln to 1200 degrees celsius. As a result, the teapots are then fired for 84 hours. Above all, this process changes the composition and appearance of the teapots, produces a dark colour on the surface of the clay. On the palate, each pot is has its unique colour due to its placement in the kiln.
